Ok, so Futureshop offically blows. First of all, i had pre ordered from there, and the whole idea of a pre order is to reserve your copy of the game when it comes out. (and enjoy other things such as the beta weekends

) Well, futureshop first decided not to reserve your copy of the game. They just had it on a shelf which any person could grab, so if i came there and they were all gone, tough luck, even if i pre ordered

. Idiots. Fortunatley that wasn't the case. There were a few copies there; however... they all had SEVERE water damage. The whole box was warped from water damage. Logo's were peeling off, the colours were distorted.

This probably meant that the instruction manual and everything insude was colour bled, warped and distorted. I can understand if they had a few shipping issues, but whoa, lotta damage. I asked them how much it was because they should be selling them for way way way lower. I'm paying for that instruction manual and everything in there, and it shouldn't be damaged. Nevertheless, Futureshop was selling them for full price even with all that damage! That is outrageous. On top of it when i questioned 2 sales people they treated me like trash(well, just not polite) and didn't seem to care.

Man i could say alot more about this, but i'm already whining enough. I just thought people should know about the greed of futureshop and their poor costomer service as a heads up. Well, probably not gonna pre order at that store again.

Phew, now that i got that out of me, i gotta go to another futureshop and see if they have any copies that don't look like crap. For now, back to guild wars

The brown cardboard box is shrink-wrapped too, the manuals should be undamaged. However I agree that a water-damaged box for the full price is a ripoff. I hope you get better luck in another FS.

Haha, yeah thanks for the luck. And setting the building on fire... not a bad idea indeed lol. My friend an I were just gonna go try another futureshop and see what happends. Who knows. Well, i'm off, see ya.

Yeah, i should have complained. But ANYHOW!! After going to futrushop with my friend and literally spending an hour there waiting and explaining to them (this was a different futureshop) I got a complete copy! Yay. Honestly though, i had to go though hell all over again dealing with their employies(omg). I'm not gonna explain it because that would take way to long. If you really want to know, ask me haha. Well, gonna go play gw now : ) see you guys online.

Futureshop has gone way down-hill since it was purchased by BestBuy. I am starting to hate them now too

I got my copy of GW from Futureshop with no problems. Not only that but since the purchasing of the pre-order box counted as a deposit, I got it for $29.99 as opposed to $39.99. Also, I didn't notice that FS dropped it's quality since it's been bought by Best Buy?

The Futureshop near me is like that too. Too bad it and Best Buy are the only ones near me and Futureshop usualy has better price. I am going to buy the game today though so I hope there's no damage or anything on mine
